I finally got my petal cones going...DIY crazy over here

i made my petal cones but i only finished one until i'm closer to the wedding day, so they won't get crushed...check them out

It's an art scissor. They have them at any craft store with all different designs. Just cut the paper as you would with regular scissors

this may be dumb, but how big is the paper your using? I'm going to start mine soon, and I wasn't really sure where to even start, any help would be much appreciated!

i used regular sized 81/2' x 11' vellum....i did it in windows and used their drawing tools...the oval..i ahd to play around with the postioning of the monogram and did a few test before i got it...
