I FINALLY got the call UPDATE

Well it was an email and with less than a month until my wedding it's about time!

This dress should have been in between mid July and August 1st so I am excited and nervous for my fitting tomorrow evening!

Cindy get a tracking number! All of their packages are shipped DHL international and we were told twice that it shipped out before it actually did. Both times they said they didn't have a tracking number but both times they said don't worry it shipped and low and behold once it was past the date again that it should have arrived all of a sudden I had a tracking number in my email with no explanation of why it was only being sent out then when we were told weeks earlier it was in transit and they had misplaced the tracking number Then they wouldn't return my calls or emails until the dress was in. Don't let them mess with you.

Update! The good news is that the dress is in and I love it! It had more bling than I ordered but I kind of liked it. They are going to fix a few things on it (little nips and tucks and things that aren't perfectly straight) and I have a second fitting on Wednesday evening.

THE BAD NEWS...so I hold it up and the seamstress goes to lace the corset back and it darn near overlaps it's so big on me....I haven't lost THAT much weight (6 lbs but I guess I've gone down in inches) and I still am trying to lose more before the wedding. The dress is so large it can't corset in on the sides at all, she just kind of tied it straight down. :(

First she said she'd widen the corset but then the ribbon would cover so much of the back embroidery! Then the owner suggested taking it in from the sides which is far more work but the only way. They're starting by taking four inches off the sides/stomach/hips area and we'll go from there. I'm just really worried if I lose any more weight what will happen because I WANT to look my best but right now my dress doesn't cinch AT ALL.

So I was happy that the dress came how I envisioned it (more beautiful actually) since it was custom but I'm worried about the size.
