Thanks angelbear217 for your help with materials. This little project took all day...it was so much nicer (IMO) but fi didn't like clear studs ont he S and A, so I had to remove (which messed up the flawless paint job) re-paint and paint the crystals silver. Hope you like it - glad I'm done!

Leena - the big one is 8' tall (from top to bottom of cake insert thingie) by 4' wide; the side letters are 5' tall by 2.5' wide.

Not of the actual cake, but I want this one (alternating squares stacked in altering patterns, but all white)...what do you think?

I bought acrylic paint (Folk Art in platinum) and brushed about 5 layers on. In between layers I had a fan going so that the drying process could be expedited. Once done with the paint the topper was pretty much done but I did a coat of spray paint (also in platinum) to smooth the surface. It wasn't hard, you just have to be consistent and fill all the nooks and crevices. I used paint brushes and sponges.
