I forgot about the tissue for the invites! UGH!!

I got my invites and I completely forgot to order the tissue. I need 7x7 size. Anyone know where I can find these for cheap? The person I got my invites from doesn't sell it. Remote assistance is kind of pricey.

I didn't use any. I wouldn't worry about it. My friend ordered them custom to fit her square invites and people throw them away.
If you still want them, I can find out for you.

Marcella you crack me up. In all honesty I want to get them because the stock of the inserts and all the other crap is red and I don't want them sitting on top of the vellum of the invite. I rather be safe than sorry ya know? Dawnie if you know of anyone please let me know. Thanks.

I have tissue w/ mine(not your size) and am not using it. I woudnt worry about it.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it...if you don't have them don't make yourself crazy. Most people don't even take notice...hey, most of us don't even get all of our replies back...so why bother going through all this hassle when all people do is put the invitation in the garbage!!!

P.S. I just made this my own vent because I can't believe how many people don't even return responses.

their purpose, back in the day, was so that if the ink, used from the calligraphy pen, (remember, they had no PC's or print shops back then) wouldn't smudge or come off onto any other part of the invite.. that's why they rarely use them anymore..

Wanda, how about buying reeeeeeeeeeeally light (as in weight) vellum and then cutting it down to size?

I am hearing more and more that people aren't using tissue anymore. I don't think it's a big deal.

I definitly don't have 130, since i only ordered 125 invites, but I have some if you want what i have. Have to check how much i have though

Marcella that sounds like a good idea! I might just do that instead if I can't find these things at a reasonable price.
I am just really concerned that the red stock may bleed onto the invite vellum since it will be in transit, tossed around, pressed down who knows what else the post office makes the invites go through. If it wasn't for the stock of the inserts I really wouldn't give a rats a$$!!
