I'd say send them in May and ask for a response of June 1.
My RSVP for my June 5th wedding is May 5th.

Sure, mine is June 12th and I will put my RSVP date May 1st b/c since ppl don't usually RSVP in time anyway, hopefully they will actually RSVP by May 12th.
