I Forgot To Number My RSVPs..........

My Sister called me today to tell me she got my invite and how beautiful they are... I was so happy!!!

Then.... She asked if I only forgot to number her RSVP.... I said, 'NO!!!!!' I forgot to Number ALL of Them!!!!!!


I can't believe I did this... This whole time I've been trying to make things easier for myself, and now I go and do this. My problem is, is that I didn't put a

Line on the RSVP... It only says...

____ Accepts with Pleasure

____ Declines with Regret

I was planning to number them and I can't believe I forgot..

DID anyone ever run into this problem??? I have a funny feeling I'm going to be making ALOT of phone calls....



Please tell me that people will write their name or something.....

YIKES.........I've never gotten an RSVP card that didn't have a line to write my name. Not that you need to hear that right now...sorry. Yeah I agree...I think you'll be making a ton of phone calls...sorry!!!

We also made our invites and response cards and did not put a line for the names.
We did number the envelopes, but I would say about half of the guests wrote their names on the card or had their return address label on the envelope so we would know where they came from.
I hope they do the same for you!

I actually was so excited when I opened the invite, I didn't notice. Until I went to prepare the response card today to send back. I saw there was no line, and I looked around for a #. I did write our names in, and did put our return address on the envelope.

HOPEFULLY, most people will recognize this and either write in their name or put their return address.

I too received the majority of responses with return addresses on them. Another hint, though not completely helpful is checking for the postmark. That'll narrow it down some, especially for OOT ones.

LONG ISLAND NY 117

Not even the full zip code..

We'll see what happens...

Don't even worry about it. Even if you get people who didn't respond, they have e-mails and phone calls. You'll never get them all back! I haven't!

And if you have family duplicated names - most people are saavy enough to know that and put their first name on it.

well....117 can narrow it down a bit...go over your list and see who lives in places that actually begin with 117. we live one exit from my in-laws and we have 118 and they have 117...so really that might help SOME.

awe.....all of the RSVPs I got back had a return address writing on the back of tne envelop by the person returning it. hopefully yours will do that and you can match up by address.
