As some of you may know my FH and I change our minds everyday about where we want to live (stay on LI, if so then what towns? or move out of state) and we keep chanbing our minds between buying a house, condo, co-op or renting an apartment. The tough thing about the apartment is we don't want to be spending an amount on rent equivilant to what we would be spending on a mortgage! And I also have a dog... Anyway we found an apartment right here in Kings Park (where we live now with our parents). We kinda know the people who own the house (friend of a relative). The apartment is a big one bedroom with a huge living room and kitchen but a small bathroom. The apartment is in their basement but their property is slanted so the back door is ground level and we get to use the backyard And I get to bring Gizmo! All for under $1K a month. Now we have more time to think about what we want to do. I am really happy

I'm really happy. I think the reason why we kept changing our minds is we were rushed with the wedding coming up. I feel so relieved now.
