I found a dress!!!

I can't believe it but after 3 hours of try on's and a very helpful staff and wonderful matron of honor, I bought THE dress! Of course I did tons of browsing on line and in mags and like everyone says, it doesnt usually ending being what you thought you'd get..not exactly anyway but I felt awesome in it and am in love with it! Thanks for the advice from all who posted help the other day, I went there feeling comfortable and somewhat knowledgeable. :-) I am happy...happy..happy.

It is a good thing that vendors do have the option to come here..I seem to recall that several months ago there was a lot of misinformation about Fox Hollow being given by one bride.This caused many other brides to worry. The vendor was able to come to this site and post a message explaining the construction next door and what he was doing to alleviate any impact it might have on weddings and receptions at Fox Hollow. It made a lot of brides feel better and cleared up the whole issue.

There is nothing in the rules that says that a vendor may not post on this site. They may not solicit business, etc etc..but there is nothing that says they cannot offer advice or opinions.

Usually you can find the dress online - either from the manufactuer's web page or the knot....

I went to Bonaventure Bridal in Garden City. They were fabulous, the whole experience (so far..saying a prayer) has been great. They didnt try to push me above my budget and I found an amazing dress. I am so excited, I found a pic in one of my many magazines after I got home. My fiancee said he knew I'd be either very happy or very sad tonight. He is happy that it is the former :-)...so am I. Next step - bridesmaids! Also, re: Bonaventure - if my bridesmaids get their dresses there, I get another 10% off my dress. If we get the tuxs, the bridesmaids get 10% off theirs.

Hi! I'm having the same problem as you. My bride mades are wearing an A-line, spghattei striped dress in light blue, and I don't know where to finde a dress for my 9 year old niece. The thing is, that I only have an other 2 months to go. If you finde out something, where to go etc. let me know and I do the same. Thanks
