Hey girls, remember last week when I was venting that I had quit my job b/c I was under paid for my work and education experience? Well I have been on interviews and I just got a great job offer which is like a 15 min drive from my house with good pay, compare to the under payed job that was an hr train ride. I am so happy now I can continue planning for the wedding. New Year, New job everything is falling into place. Thanks for the support girls

Thanks everyone, i just got another job offer. The first one is a 12 min drive or less and offers 5K less a yr.
The other is 45 minute train ride and the salary is a bit more. I would also have more flexible time to take vaca.
I like the Brooklyn one position b/c I live in b'klyn. I am wondering if the travel expense would add up to the same.
definatly take into consideration the commute every day.. I did a 45 train ride 4 times a week for my intership and I wanted to hurt someone after 6 weeks...and if they do not reimburse for travel DEF take that into consideration as well. I know everyone always looks at the overall salary, but travel can add up to more than its worth..
also which job do you like better?? or are they the same?

I like the one by my house better (work wise) It is running an after school prog while the other in Manhattan is running a tutoring prog. But I think I am going to go w/the one by my house b/c I am going back to graduate school and I can do the stud teaching at that school which is a good school district and hopefully end up working in that school when I graduate.
