Hi Girls: I am planning to go to LI to do some bridal shoe shopping and I did the search on the shoe threads, and came up with these names to visit:

Its a long list, but I was wondering if anyone knows their addresses/phone #s or even exits off the major highways, since I am not all that familiar with Long Island.
I am looking for a shoe that's similar to a picture below, with heel no higher than 2.5 inches. I also like the old KennethCole collection (Bridal Shower style and Formal Attire), but now they're only sold at Nordstrom's and on their website for like $120-140, and I would like to spend less. I also found a pair at www.ninewest.com, but they're not a perfect fit, and I may return them for credit if I find something more comfortable.
So this is the free weekend that I plan to spend shoe shopping and making a big trip to LI, as my dress arrives on Dec. 9th, and I would like to be ready for my fittings.

I would go to Sandys Shoes in Massapequa. They are right on Sunrise hwy across from LIRR I believe they are next to IHOP. I bought a few pairs there and they are very nice and helpful. I would not go to dying for you , I have honestly heard horror stories, I even had a friend how used to work there and what they do is wrong.
As far as the other places: Estelles dressy dresses is on RTE 110 right near the 109 exit. they have a website and so does Sandys shoes. That is all I know.

Bridal Reflections in Carle Place is on Glen Cove Road. If you take the Northern State to Glen Cove Rd. You will have to go South on Glen Cove, towards Old Country Rd. It will be on your left. If you are going to be on Old Country Rd. all ready just go North on Glen Cove, you'll see it!
Estelles is on Route 110. The easiest suggestion I would think, is the Southern State East to Rt. 110 exit. Go North on 110. I'm not sure of the number it is on the Southern State. It could be exit 33. But don't quote me on that. If you take the SS to 110, Estelle's will be on your left.
Those are the only two I know. I hope I helped! I'm sorry I don't have the phone numbers for these places

Craft shoes is on Jericho tpke, in the Lucille Roberts shopping center. They have a pretty good selection.

I will make it easy for you, I just got those shoes via the mail today. Go on Colorriffics website and They are called MEg I believe. They were about $50.00 and they are the most comfortable shoe I have bought to date. I have 3 pairs for my wedding and I am keeping these.
If you are interested I can look for the exact web address, I called the guy last week and I recieved them today.

wacky, according to coloriffics site they don't sell to normal people, you have to go to one of their stores or authorized dealers for that, how did you buy them? The reason for driving is that I would like to try the shoes on first, before purchasing, as i have already bought a pair thats kinda ok, but not the best from ninewest.com, and I have decided that I prefer to take a marathon drive than ordering and sending things back b/c they don't fit.

Wacky, thanks for the awesome links, and at the dyables shoes store they have kenneth cole at a discount... I'll do my try ons and then see if I should order online or not (depending how big is the price difference)...
