I found my dream home!

I'm so excited. I found a home that had everything I wanted, and DH and I are going to look at it! 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms
The master bedroom is bordered on two sides by windows with a private view. It has a huge walk-in closet as well as a large master bathroom with a double vanity, whirlpool bath and stand up shower. Each of the two other bedrooms on this level has its own private baths. Oversized two car garage, municipal services and cable television.
The only catch? We are probably moving upstate to Ithaca and it is $295,000, only slightly more than we are going to sell our tiny 1-bedroom condo for!

Wow! That house is beautiful.

I went to Cornell, so I know all about Ithaca. Have you spent a lot of time up there?

I went there too--graduated in '00! We FMd a couple times about it. I had my reunion last June. I am actually trying for some jobs at Cornell and if I get one we are probably leaving!

Wow-that's great house! It's so sad that for the same price you could get an apt in the buliding next door to me.

That's right: I remember! Wow, what kind of job are you looking for?

I work in university admin. now, and am in charge of the computer system that Cornell just started using, so there are a few jobs I am qualified for. Problem is, I really want them to match or hopefully give me more than my current salary in order for it to be worth it to move. But I loved it up there and can't wait to go back!
