Why is this style so popular? Does it have a slimming effect? That bunching material, I should have tried one on. A lot of the bridesmaid dresses I saw also have that. I call it a 'poofy' dress. I don't know the real term.

i tried on that dress..i loved it...but my mom didnt care for the pick up's on me...it is so beautiful though...

They are pick-ups. At first I wasn't a fan of them but when I tried one on I loved them. This dress is definitely not poofy. I made sure I was able to sit without a problem lol. The pick-ups do not have a slimming effect.

OMG i think we might be dress twins! i tried on dresses today and I think this one is the one! i am just changing the neckline to sweetheart if i purchase it!
