I FOUND MY DRESS!! Bridal Suite of Bay Shore- RAVE!

I FOUND MY DRESS!! Bridal Suite of Bay Shore- RAVE!


so i went to try on dresses on sat. and didn't expect to find anything. well long story short, i found my dress! i MUST say that the whole dress search experience frightened the bejesus out of me--and i had been putting it off for MONTHS. being a plus size---well let's just say it is NOT easy. you feel like the sales women are trying to shove your fat azz into the samples and that you are a big fat cow! but i have to give the biggest props to the ladies at bridal suite of bay shore--as they made the experience much easier than i thought! they made me feel comfortable and helped me soooo much! (April, Schmeika, and Mary all attended to my needs.)

i didn't bring my camera--so the only pic i have of the dress is from the designer's website.
Mon Cheri Bridals

click on 'Collection', then skip to page 3 of 4, the dress is 3rd row down--2nd dress. (Style #15230)

of course it doesn't look the same on me as it does on that skinny biitch model---it looks BETTER! BWUAHAHAHA!!

btw--i just noticed the back of the dress on the site isn't quite what mine will be--as i am just not that brave. it's a higher back--and i will have straps added!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That dress is absoluetly stunning. I love it. Did you get it in white or ivory?

Wow, it is truly beautiful. I was totally freaked out about dress shopping too and put it off because I knew not all the samples would fit me. I'm so happy you had a good experience.

PS...my friend wore a Mon Cheri last year and said it was so comfortable!

THANKS! i got it in white--it's just so stunning in that white. luckily my skin tone can pull off the white. lol that pic doesn't do the dress justice at all--cause all the beading in the front just *sparkles* in the light. i picked out a BLING BLING tiara to go with it! LOL

GAWGEOUS!!! Congratulations! You're hysterical! And I feel your pain! Sometimes I feel like the only reason I picked the dress I picked is because it was the only dress at Macy's that they actually HAD in my size! Then you look around at all the brides around you who need clothes pins to make it TIGHTER on them and you want to throw up on them!

congratulations on the absolutely GORGEOUS dress!! You're going to be a BEAUTIFUL bride!!

The white will be beautiful! Can't wait to see pics of you in it! I know what you mean about the sparkles. The pic of mine doesn't show the sparkles that well but it is very sparkly!

Thats where i got my dress from, i have been going there for years... i even got my prom dress there!! they were a little pricy but i felt it was a good name i was comfortable with so i went with it. congrats it is beautiful

It is beautiful. I also got my dress there. I love the ladies in the store, they are so helpful and nice. I have used them in the past as well.
