I found my gown!!!

I went to Kleinfeld's last night on my own because I haven't been having any luck going with my mom or MOH. Well, I found my dress!!! It is an Alvina Valenta duchesse satin dress and it is exactly what I have been looking for. My consultant, Barbara, was like a magician. As soon as she brought it out I knew it was the one for me!

Yes, it will be two-tone. The dress itself is ivory and then the band under my bustline is an eggshell color.

At first, it was weird. I actually almost cancelled the appointment. But I'd been so stressed out going w/ my mom and MOH, that I just decided to go alone. The best part was I wasn't concerned w/ what anyone else was thinking. I was able to focus on how I FELT in the dress. It was really the most painless experience I have had. Kleinfeld's was wonderful!

yay another Kleinfeld bride....I love Alvina Valenta too....I had a few dresses in mind when i went but the dresses i thought I would like of hers were too poofy and big on me that the dress overpowered me....but i did still find my dress there
