I was spending the day with my grandma today and she slipped!!!! I rfeally wanted this to be a surprise! She tried to cover it up and act like she didnt just slip, and I acted like I didn't hear her so she would not feel bad, but I did hear her, and now I know! The worst is now I have to work on my surprise face So that it doesn't look fake!

I found out when mine was too, bu even so, when I walked in and everyone yelled 'surprise', I got so overwhelmed and burst into tears!! You may not need to work on it, everyone thought I was shocked! :)

Those grandmas, I tell ya! Mine slipped too, and now I know I'm trying to be in denial about it - I won' t even say the date in my head or out loud, hoping I can forget that I know!

Well that was sweet of you to try to cover, your heart is in the right place. Sorry your surprise was ruined. I knew about my shower and I was still surprised by the decorations and awesome food and games,,,,,,so hopefully, even though you know when, you will be surprised by the details!

You are so lucky to have your grandmother around for your shower. Mine passed away in February and I miss her so much. The day before she died, she told me she'd be at our wedding whether I invite her or not. It still makes me tear up, especially since we didn't 'invite' her now.
My other grandmother passed away over 10 years ago. I miss them both dearly and wish they could be here this time in my life. I'm just glad the one who died in February had time to get to know FH and that we were engaged and everything. She even saw a picture of me in my dress the day before she died!
Please give your grandma a hug for me!! I'm so sad I'm crying with tears streaming down my face right now just thinking about it all, it's so overwhelming sometimes.

Well at least you can look your best. I am so glad I know when mine is. But being that three of my BMs have to stay at my house the night before and my MOH is flying in from Paris, I think it would have been extremely hard to surprise me.
