I found the cardbox I want...

but I'm sitting here really wondering if I should spend $150 on something I will only use once...

would you?

can you give me reasons why I should get it?? so when FH asks why I spent $150 (plus tax and shipping) on this I have many reasons 'why'...

Hey lovely!! I don't know what kind of card box this is, but I spent that much on my card box from FTMB. I can't bear to part with it and it's still sitting on my shelf in my living room 6 weeks later!!!! It was a custom made detail that was important to me, and it was worth the money. If you feel that it's important to you, and worth the money, then do it!! Don't feel bad about 'only using it once', this is a Once in a Lifetime experience you are going to have!!! That's the point!!! Good luck!!!

I wouldn't...but that's just me. I would rather spend the $150 on other things.

But if its something you want then you should get it. Not really sure how you can justify it to FH aside from saying...'but honey I need it'...lololol

I should also add that I may not be spending $150 on a card box but I will be spending $165 on chocolate seashells for my wedding cake....

I guess it really doesn't matter what someone else's opinion may be on how to spend the money because in the end if it's what you want then who cares what you spent on it!

I wanted one from For the Modern Bride but I waited too long and they are no longer taking orders for weddings until after November or something like that...but now that I waited this long I spent the money on a whole bunch of other 'cr@p'

so I found this one today. Its Just like what they make

i look at it like this..i spent alot onmt table numbers and people prob think we r nuts buti may have spent that but my shoes were only 20 bucks where someone else might have spent 300..it all balances out

I know I thought about that balancing out thing... and then realized I went over budget on pretty much every single thing

I just ran the idea by FH and he said its our 'one day to go nuts'... that was a shocking response...

I made the mistake of showing my mom.. she is going nuts lol.. 'its perfect you HAVE to get it.. Ill get it for you! etc'...

So now Im gonna buy it before she does cause I feel bad she has spent way too much on me already

I spent $100 on the cardbox and FH didnt want it because according to him, it was a waste of money. I told him that I didnt care what he thought and it was important to me, so I got it lol!!!

Do what is going to make you happy and getting a cardbox from For the modern bride made me happy, so I did

LOVES IT LOVE the damask print!!!! Go for it beautiful!!! You deserve it!!

I think it's really pretty and matches your invitations and everything perfectly. It's a lot more than I would spend on a card box personally, but who am I to judge anyone anymore when I shelled out 200 bucks on venetian masks that I'm never going to receive!

Make sure the company is still in business before you pay them!
