I FOUND THE DRESS!!!

Even with all the stress on either choosing CLM, Thatched Cottage, a small wedding at BBG, I stil made time and found THE DRESS. I went to RK Bridal after work after my intuition told me to go there again. The week before I was trying on a couple of Maggie dresses and wanted to refresh my memory. I picked out those dresses and picked 5 more to bring the dressing room. I picked a Casablanca dress, another Maggie dress, 2 DaVinci dresses, and a Jacquelin dress. The Jacquelin dress was the last I picked out and did it out of random.

So I started with the DaVinci dresses. One was way too simple and just wanted to get it off me. The next one was nice but way too big for me. If I was having a wedding for 500 and wanted to go the Cinderella route, then maybe I would have considered it. I tried one of the Maggie dresses (the Jessica dress, I think) and it was nice and flattering but a little over my budget. Then I put on the Jacquelin dress. All I gotta say is WOW! I was blown away when I saw myself in the mirror. It was everything I wanted. Simple, yet romantic. I really felt like I was born to wear that dress. So when I put on the last 3 dresses, it was very clear the Jackie dress was the one. Even when I was wearing the Grace dress for a good 15 minutes and walk around with it, I knew as beautiful that dress is (and flattering), it wasn't THE DRESS.

Thinking it might be too late to order, I put the deposit today. I am so happy I really feel like crying. I've been waiting for this moment to finally get the dress and it has happened. Now, I have to wait until December when the dress will be there so I can try it on. YAY I GOT MY DRESS.

Thanks everyone. If there is something you all can do, give me some chicken soup and medicine. LOL Suddenly my body crashed on me and I've been having the biggest headache and sore throat. I hate feeling sick.

I do need to get FI into the CLM bandwagon fast or else we're going to lose the 10/5 date. I know he loves it from the pics I took and it's close to his hometown.

PS: I'm now no longer a newbie. YAY

Thanks and nice pooch. Just took some asprin and a cup of warm tea. I hope this kinda helps before going to work this morning. My body still feels very weak and the last thing I want is for me to fall on the subway tracks.

Yeah it is! What is more of a miracle is that I actually went to work this morning, despite the bout with the flu. FI told me I should just stay home and rest but because no one is in the office this morning and my co-worker won't be here until 12, I might as well work until she comes in. I still feel very weak but I'm drinking a lot of fluids for my throat. After all, my job do require to speak on the phone. LOL

I am also glad I went alone because if I did had my family or BHs with me, then it would have been tough to decide on a dress. My mom wants me to have straps or something to cover the shoulders while my BHs have their own styles.
