I found the right font- but how do I use it?

I used the 'Search by Sight' engine on font.com, and I found it- It's actually called Marnie...they sell it for $42, which is crazy. So I googled and found it FREE on Fontsforkids.com. Now, what do I do, I tried to DL it, but I don't know where it went or how to use it?!?!

UPDATE- Would you believe that I downloaded about 10 fonts from the fonts for kids thing and the ONLY one that doesn't work is the one I need??!?!! WHY ME?

when you save it you must save it in your Font folder..if your using windows it should be

C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

it was probably saved to a 'temp' file (temporary). when you DL it, and the box comes up that says open or save, hit open - that way you can save it where you want!

Go back to the font site, re-download the file but MAKE SURE you download it to the C:/windows/fonts folder. It should work fine. You might have to close and reopen your programs for you to be able to see the font in your fontlist. HTH!
