I frikken hate the post office.

FH took our exact invite to the post office just last week and received the price for it be mailed domestically and internationally. Domestically was $1.12. SO I went online and ordered matching .66 and forever stamps. He just went to send them all out and they need an additional .6. ***?! How can it just change from one week to the next? Now he put some fugly azz red/white stamps on the front. UGH!

Omg that is so annoying. I would be pissed too. Now I'm thinking back, and as a guest, I've never noticed the postage on an invite, so it shouldn't be a big deal. But, as a bride, I totally get being really annoyed by that.

This! It sucks for us, but NO ONE will notice so don't worry about it :)

Ugh.! That is so annoying. I'd be pi$$ed to but in the grand scheme of things I'd take it. Much worse could go wrong.

I had only one stamp on my outer envelope (domestic) and it was a really pretty 'I Do' stamp.

I couldn't agree with you more! I had a bad experience with the post office as well. Doesn't seem like everyone there knows what they are doing. The pricing for the actual invites was right but for the rsvp's they told me that it qualified as a postcard amount stamp for .33. Turns out because it was in an envelope it should have been .46. Luckily I've been getting some of the rsvp's back but people still have just under 1 month to respond so not sure if there will be a hold up with any of them. Seems that some post offices are letting it slide since I've received a bunch back already but its still stressful that they screwed up like that.
