well, stupid me forgot to take pics!!! There really wasnt much to take pics of anyway... i was a bit disappointed... there were really no 'special touches' that would have been interesting to see... i did pick up on some super small silly details that i would like to make sure happen at my own wedding though...
S FH and I were in a super rush and running so late and finally show up at 6:15ish (wedding starts at 6) and go to go in and the guy tells us the CH isnt open yet and we could go sit in the bar! I was shocked that it wasn't open on time!!! So we go chill in the bar... the CH finally opens... FH runs into friends... and asks them what time the invite says... it was 6:30... oops!! I was in big trouble!!

So the night started out interesting...
Anyway, the wedding was beautiful...
THe CH was Beautiful and super yummy... (that is my favorite part of the wedding!) Well, when it was over they told us to please head inside... when we got to our tables, our appetizer was already there, which i thought was great, however, the water glasses were not filled up yet... i will definitely make sure they are full before my guests are asked to take a seat... the waitstaff wasnt around yet to ask and we were waiting for the bridal partty to be introduced so we were kind of stuck... I think i also might have them put strawberries in everyones champagne glass because it looked so pretty during the cocktail hour why not include in on the tables as well??
Anyway, our waitress was great... she brought so many drinks to our table and was always asking if we needed refills...
We had SO many choices for our meal.. it was very yummy (no seconds like someone above mentioned though)
They also had a vienesse hour... that was super yummy too, but it was so hard to carry tea and coffee such a long distance to our table with our other hand full with dessert... i would probably suggest having coffee/tea being served directly to the tables if that is a possibility...
A lot of people were up dancing, but then they announced that the vienese table was now open and they stopped playing dance music so everyone could go... a lot of people didnt head over to eat dessert and were just sitting around and then just started leaving!!! I feel like the DJ should have kept playing dance music so the people who wanted to dance could keep dancing... it just totally killed the party... that was a bit disappointing...
I dont rememer seeing a guest book, (the place card table was so mobbed with people grabbing their cards that you couldnt see one if there was one there) so if there was one we missed it... if we have one, i might ask our DJ to make an announcement to remind everyone to sign it!
They also had a couple disposable cameras with a note attached to please take a few shots, then pass it to the next table... i though that was a cute idea...
There was also no card box or anything.. i was debating about doing this, and now i definietly will... as the bride and groom came around to talk to everyone, they got bombarded with cards, then were pulled on the dance floor and were still holding cards in their hands!! SO i will definitely get one! Our waitress actually told us that there was one by the bride & grooms table if we wanted to drop off our cards before we forgot (it was nice to have a reminder) but i guess they just didnt have one!!
OK, sorry for all this babble, i hope it helps with some of the details... I get to go to another one in a few weeks!
