I get to meet Patti Smith tomorrow! - UPDATE!

She's doing a fantasy festival here and I've been asked tohelp out at the press briefing tomorrow.

OMG That is so cool!!!

so we had our press conference today and me, being the reliable one ( ) was sent to get her a latte. But my boss didn't want her to have to drink out of a paper cup, so I had to bring my mug for her to use!

Well, anyway, halfway during the press conference, she's talking about how she views the festival, and that she sees everyone as workers toiling toward a common goal, yadda, yadda, yadda and she says 'You know everyone from the secret person who must've brought me this coffee to...' I was like That's me, that's me!!!!!! And afterwards, my boss introduced me to her by my name and then saying This is the person who brought you the coffee!

Actually she was wonderful, extremely charismatic and gracious and sweet - and she had just gotten off the red eye!!! Plus she did a song for the press - it was like a private mini concert for about 25 of us!!!

That is so fantastic! I would keep that mug under glass......did she leave a lipstick mark... OK that made me sound a little stalker-ish
