I met with Nadia from Pedestals
I got the Titanic roses with pearl stephanotis BM got different shades of pink roses
Groom- pink w/stephs GM's- just pink
Parents/steps- cream roses mothers are with stephs and can either be worn on the wrist or on the chest grandmas got cream/pink orchids.
I can't wait to see them!

If anyone could post a pic of anykind for the boutsand corsages- would be awesome!
My bo-k is going to be pink and pale pink roses with stephanotis. My BM bo-k is going to be like mine but smaller with less roses and more stephanotis.
Stephanotis will have pearls in the middle to match my dress.
Do you guys think that's good?
Does the groom get a white rose or a pale pink rose? And do you just have a rose or should there be some stephanotis?
I was going to give the Dads and Steps a white rose with stephanotis.
The mothers/steps/and grands.. what do I do? Should they get white roses with stephanotis too? Do thier corsages cascade (very small) so that they wear them on thier wrist or bust?
SERIOUSLY, I have been wraking my brains all day and it's just too filled up with stuff to make a decision.

All of my flowers are in my wedding ideas album. Just one thing you should consider, stephanotis, especially with pearls in them, are very expensive. They also don't hold up as well as other flowers. Good luck!

love your idea for your bo-k stephanotis are really expensive so i wouldn't do so many of those
and for the groom i would give him a white rose and everyone else a pale pink rose so that he stands out as the groom and if you want to add a stephanotis to it you can..
as for the mothers/steps/and grands..i would give give them a corsage with white roses...

How expensive is stephanotis with the pearls? I'm not having any other flowers than these. No ceremony, table, or otherwise. So if it's not too terribly expensive then I might go for it. So what do you suggest as back up for the Stephs?

I heard to put the stephanotis with pearls in them in bouquets, they are an additional fee which can vary from 1-3$ each... I was going to do that but changed my mind quickly..
my FI is having a white bout wrapped in silk to stand out from the other guys.. plus he is going to have white hydrangeas too to match me.. the GMs are going to have a white rose, no silk, with light & dark blue hydrangeas to match the BMs,....
Also, your florist will help you decide on what to do. They will tell you what works and what wont.. they dont expect you to have every decision made already.. :) youre ahead of the game already!

I love the stephanotis with the pearls in them but I have heard they're expensive. If you go on the 'theme' board and do a search for pink, there's supposedly a pink thread that has tons of bo-k ideas with pinks.
I would have the groom's bout be different from the groomsmen so he stands out a little- maybe a different flower or one of a different color.
If you go to your florist with ideas of what you like, he/she should be able to show you lots of pictures of different things they've done that work with the flowers or colors you like.

A good florist will answer all your qauestions as well as giving you additional ideas and suggestions in terms of types of flowers and colors you could use... if they don't do that, i would be wary. good luck!

i think your ideas are great!i havent heard of steph being more money per flower, the florist i was using just put them into the price of my bo-k which was a great price..however, i think smaller bo-k for you girls would be great, your FH would look nice with a white rose w/ a steph and then your dads and GM could just have the pink rose no steph, this would make your fh stand out more... the mothers i say would depend on their dress selection too, either pink or white would be nice, but maybe go with whatever one would go with the color of their dress more... i love the pearl inside the steph, i was going to have blue swaroski crystal inside, so i think thats a beautiful touch...these are all JMHO tho, i think your ideas are great, and a florist should be able to help you more...good luck!

Well actually your b-k's are similar to the ones I am interested in ~ Unfortunately I don't have any pics on here...if you FM with your e-mail I could e-mail you...
For me I am having white roses with stephonitis with the aqua pearls (for a hint of color)
FH - is going to have a white rose + Stephanotis (to match me) I love stephanotis and wanted it throughout the BP but it is expensive so I am only having it for me and FH to make us different.
BM are going to have champagne roses with a hint of the aqua pearls (not sure how she is going to arrange it - I have to give her my final thoughts as we get closer)
GM will match the BM...
Dads will match the GM or I might do something different for them if I do this they will match the mothers (but not the same as FH)
Mothers I was thinking of matching with BM or something different (maybe to match there dresses or maybe there favorite flower ~ as long as it matches and doesnt look funny) Wrist corsages are popular but some people dont like to wear them you can give them a mini bouquet...
I went to my florist with some of my ideas and they took my mishmosh of ideas and put together a nice combo...don't stress it ~ you dont need to have your 'final' decisions made just give them your ideas and let them help you cordinate it... Good Luck!

It sounds like you are set on your bo-ks.
When it comes to the men, I would be as simple as possible. I think the single rose for all men would be fine . I say simple because: 1. The men won't appreciate how pretty their bouts are. 2. With all of the hugs and love going around, they are going to get smooshed and the rose will be the toughest to stand up to the hugging while the other flowers would probably get smashed. 3. Its cheaper. Im personally not doing them for the men.. but if you are, I wouldnt spend a ton. Its really for the pictures. Most likely those jackets will be off during the first dance and no one is going to see the flowers any more
As for the ladies, I would ask if they prefer wrist or pin-on. If you want to do it all the same, I would vote for wrist. Some people get pisssy about having things pinned on their dress and then you also have the hugging/smash factor if its pinned on their top.

Stephanotis with the pearls/rhinestones are beautiful. I am doing white roses for FI, fathers and grandfathers. Since I want pink flowers for BP the guys get lt pink roses.
My mothers corsages will have a flower that is unique in only my bouquet.
