I got a bit freaked out last night...

At a little after 3am, I was in bed dreaming about things falling and making a loud sound. I woke up and realized that the loud sound was real, and coming from right above our heads. I freaked out and woke Brad up. He first thought it was rain, but it wasn't. It was too loud to be a mouse. It was definitely coming from the apartment directly above us...

...the woman who lived right above us died on Saturday. There is no one living there right now. I don't normally believe in ghosts, but this totally freaked me out.

If it was her family, I can't figure out what in the world they were doing. It was this repetitive noise, like something falling and scraping back and forth against the floor. It stopped suddenly, and we went back to sleep, but it was really strange.

The only thing I can think of is that the family was cleaning the apt out... maybe sweeping was the dragging noise you heard? But would they do this at 3am!??
