It's actually a BM dress, but I thought it was really cute. I am also going to wear it to a wedding that I have in late October.
I got this halter style,
But in this color combo - cranberyy with a burnt orange sash. I also got a wrap that is cranberry on one side and burnt orange on the other

I have similar dresses and had to fight girls for gold color shoes, they all wanted black shoes with it. I ended up buying them the shoes myself $75 each.

My next project is finding dcent gold shoes on the cheap side. I saw nice bronze-y ones on the way home from work yesterday, but they didn't have my size.
I agree, I don't think black will look good at all.

OMG -- that's my BMs dress! -- well, one of 'em, at least -- my girls are each having different styles.
The designer is Aria Dresses and you can check them out on the web: link to Aria Dress -- they have lots of very pretty simple dresses and they were just what I wanted for my BMS. Lilacwine already used them and wrote a review for her wedding and I'll post a review when my dresses come in -- expected in August)
The unique thing about Aria is that b/c they only have showrooms in Boston, DC, and LA they will ship a sample dress to you. This worked out great for us -- I initially liked the idea of the try on program b/c my BMs range in size from 4-22 and I hated the fact that most stores only stock size 10, but we also really liked the fact no one had to travel to a store, but instead everyone could try on their dresses in the comfort and privacy of thier own homes. The shipments were always correct and we only waited a few days for them. Their website gives you more details about this 'try on' program.

SamJenna is right - it's an Aria Dress. I actually wanted a Jenny Yoo dress that was the same style, but this one was $100 cheaper!
They have a 'try-on' program where for $18, they will ship you a dress to try-on for a couple days and then send it back. I thought the dress was great quality and FYI - I thought they ran small.

Oh - they also can make a matching purse and ties for the guys!! Dan protested the matching tie, so I will have to find something complimentary!
