I got a job!!!!

I can't beleive it...I was feeling so useless...6 months of being umemployed...I don't know how to work any more!!

I am going to be a Drug Free and Safe School Coordinator for a Middle School!!!

I am really excited...I just don't know what to do about this volunteer position that I was going to accept tomorrow? should I still go and meet with him...or should I just call him and tell him?

I would just call and tell them the good news. It would be a waste of your time and theirs to go and meet if you aren't going to accept.

thanks everyone....they always say when you least expect it...I interviewed for this job at least a month ago!!! I actually had a thread on here asking opinions for drug and violence in schools suggestions...

I just hope I can do the job!!!

And CONGRATULATIONS to you, Erica! That sounds like a wonderful (and very positive) opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the lives of youngsters...how AWESOME!

John and I decided I should go in tomorrow...b/c I don't have the official offer in my hand...but tell the guy tomorrow that I have been actively interviewing that I can't sign anything tomorrow...

not sure...i go in on friday to meet with 2 other people and then hopefully get the official offer!!

I would die if I have to start monday...but I think its a possibility...
