I got a lot accomplished this weekend! Mini-review of the vendors I met with....
So this weekend I was in NY getting some wedding stuff done!! Here what I did, and reviews of who I met with:
Regal Bridal: Met with them to discuss a photo, video, limo package. They were very nice right off the bat. However, they seemed a little disorganized when I first arrived. There office was a little cluttered and not as nice as the other photographers I met with, but I really didn't care about that. I was prepared with my questions, the quote they gave me, and my MOH and my mommy, who was AWESOME help, asking questions I didn't think to ask, so we all got on the same page quickly. I met with Gabriella, who is so sweet! My mom loved her! Their photos were very nice! They were basic, beautifully shot pics. They are more traditional than photojournalistic, but do take those candid pics that really make an album pop. There videos were like all the ones I have seen, very nicely shot and edited. Complete with photo montages ect. I didn't get a chance to see there limos because they were all out on jobs for the day. They put together an amazing package for me:

Flower Michele:
First let me start off my saying I LOVE FLOWER MICHELE!! I was impressed right off the bat! WHen I walked into their beautiful office, I was immediately pleased!! Although i'm on a budget, Flowers are something very important to me, as I feel that they greatly contribute to the feel of the event. Still, the package they put together for me was very affordable!!
I can't remember the name of the man I met with, however he was so great!! We got to talking, and his uncle was my middle school social studies teacher, who I loved and who is one of the reasons I myself became a history teacher. Because of that he hooked us up with so much!!!
I have a huge bridal party the package includes flowers for them all . In our bks we have colored calla lillies, and orcids, roses. The centerpieces a beautiful (i have pics in my album). I am doing lows, however there will be a total of 6 cylinder on the tables filled with orchids, water, and a floating candle. The height of the cylinders will range from 6,9, and 12 inches with a bed of rose pedals. So pretty!!
We are booking with them for sure! I had an appointment with Burtons but had to reschedule, and Verbena didn't have any free appointments, but I don't think I want to meet with anyone else.
Get in Tunes production:
I met with Glen to discuss lighting for the room. We want not just dance floor lighting that the DJ provides we want our entire room to have a glow! I loved Glen! He met me at Larkfield which was great, he got a chance to see the room to decided what needed what. He was really into event design. He was great! I am waiting to hear back from him with the estimate, but unless his bid is crazy high or any other lighting company has a lower bid we plan on booking with him!
