i got a new job

i got a new job

i just found out. i only interviewed on tuesday. i'm so excited to be leaving my present company. it is such a miserable place to work. i haven't even told them yet. that is my least favorite part. it'll take me a couple of hours to work up the courage anyway just wanted to share. i'm literally shaking i'm so excited!

i always find it easier to submit a notice of resignation in writing! good luck. i love starting new jobs.

thanks guys. i just gave in my official notice. so that's it i guess and actually it worked out well b/c i have a vacation planned for the week of the 21st. so i'll leave here, go on vacation and start fresh when i return.

quick question -- did you get the new offer in writing before you quit?

I just started my new job 3 weeks ago. I never got anything in writing. I did however make sure I accepted the new job before I handed in my notice!

ha ha, my husband asked the same thing. no i didn't. maybe i should have but oh well. i'm sure these people would take me back if it fell through it's at a publishing firm. i'll be doing copyright permissions work. maybe one day i'll get to do proofreading or editing which i think would be cool.
