I GOT A NEW JOB!!!

I am soooo excited!! It was a lot to take in today and I have a lot of stuff to take care of today but I am sooo looking foward to it all. It is all so different from what I have ever done. I am so psyched!!

Well, its not exactly in one location. I am a special ed teacher, so basically what happens is, I have my own clients, and I have to make up a schedule and meet with them each week for maybe an hour or two a day (I don't know exacts yet, I have to make up my own schedule) But it is 30 hours a week and 3 of my clients are in Queens and 1 is in Brooklyn. I will be meeting with them an following their IEP's to reinforce skills and such. I am so excited. And the pay is awesome. I am making three tiimes what I was making at my last job and I will be making in one year what I made in three years at the old school district I used to teach at plus a little more. More importantly, I will get to travel and not be stuck in one place all day. That was my biggest problem with any job I ever had. I always felt like I was cooped up and not part of the world. Now I'll be out and about all day!!
The only downer is that you get paid monthly, which is ok by me, it will be a very nice monthly check, but I am not going to get one til April 1st. So DH and I will be skimping until that check comes and hopefully my tax return and my last paycheck and money owed to me from my old job will get here!! Otherwise, I'll have to borrow money from my mom, which I really don't want to do, but if I have to , I will and pay her back!!
I am just so excited. I needed a big change and wow, did I get one!!
