I got a present!!!!!!

I got my first shower present from my registry today ...FH is out at his brother's house working but he left this HUGE box in the living room. I opened the box and there's a bunch of other boxes inside but they're all wrapped. Should I open them now or wait??

The temptation is overwhelming!! WHAT SHOULD I DO

I opened my gifts that were mailed to my home...no harm!!!

Oooh! How exciting!!! Since it's a shower gift (for the bride) and not an engagement or wedding gift for both of you - I say - Open It!! (And let Snapple play in the big box!)

I have the list of gifts purchased from my registry committed to memory -- just judging by the shape of the boxes and the amount there are (and the fact that this just came off the list yesterday) I'd say it was my every day dishes...but its from FH's sister. Shouldn't I wait until he comes home? (I can't believe I'm even saying this - maybe I'm getting sick or something)

Bubba's actually the one who's jonesing to get into the box! He came right over to it right away and keeps peeking in it (basically telling me to hurry up and empty it )

And Snapple is completely BETTER!!! He's 100% back to his old, noisy, begging-for-constant-food-and-attention self! That plus presents is making this a pretty good week!

Oh Yay!!! I'm so glad Snapple is feeling better!!! (It looks like it was Finicky Cat Syndrome after all!)

I had a feeling that the box would attract some feline curiousity! I didn't realize that Snapple had an adopted brother! Are there any more? (We've got 2.)

As to the opening the present dilemma - it's a tough call. If it was me - I would probably wait. I love the suspense of opening a gift (although you seem to already know what it is! ). If you can handle it, wait till your FH gets home - otherwise - just tell him that Bubba made you do it!

We just have 2, Bubba and Snapple. Bubba's a year or 2 older. They've been together pretty much since birth. Together they encompass all feline traits you can imagine but share almost none..it can drive you crazy sometimes but at least its easy to tell who did what when things happen.

I'm trying to wait...FH just called and told me to wait until the wedding He's dreaming if he thinks I can make it until tomorrow night!

Wait until the wedding!?! Oh wow, I would never be able to wait that long! Open it when he gets home, and let us know if you guessed right!

Did I say I'm always right? Of course I did!! Because it's the truth!!!

His very generous sister bought us the whole set, including the matching serving bowls and platters that we registered for. I had to sulk a little b/c he was busting my chops telling me I was 'cheating' b/c I peeked at the registry...I told him this isn't a game! (the rules are, there are no rules!! ) So just to torture him I had to open every box and examine the contents - even though we're going to put everything in storage until we move. He kept asking me why I had to open everything - I said what if something's broken? I have to know NOW! He's like shake the box. Nope. Had to look at every cup, dish and bowl lol.

WOOHOO I GOT PRESENTS!!!
