They totally trash the house on the surface. But the people who work on the show clean it up afterward.

very cool I love that show!! they are a little rough with some stuff though..like last week they broke a picture frame on acciendent..just make sure treasured breakables aren't around. It is scary how they break into the homes

I'm going to have to agree with your DH on this one. FH and I were flipping the channels and saw that show recently, and we couldn't believe what we were seeing. You do realize that you can hire a co. to come into your house and give you recommendations on how to protect your home, without having your home trashed and being ridiculed on TV, right? Sorry, JMO, but I would never do it, but I think most reality shows are silly that way. However, if you're going to do it, good luck with it...and definately give anything that is priceless to you to your parents to hold onto, b/c if they do break it, it's gone forever.

I was watching a marathon of that show the other day - and they have some great ideas! and they give you a lot of free things to make your house secure, which is great and can save a lot of money. i'd be terrified that they'd trash the house, but they seem to take care of most of the things in the end... make sure you tell us when it's going to air!!

Of course, but that all costs money. The last show I saw they got $6,000 worth of security upgrades.

I'd still rather pay for it, b/c I wouldn't have the stomache to watch someone break into my house. But, if you can handle it, and as long as you remove anything that you'd be heart broken if it were broken, then go for it! Keep us posted on when it's on---I'll watch, and be horrified for you!!

It sounds fun BUT I wouldnt do it. Who needs the entire inside of your house and what you have exposed to the public like that? I wouldnt feel safe letting everyone 'in' my world so to speak.

They makeover your home with security features (i.e., alarm systems, cameras, locks, doors, landscaping). They try to burgular proof the house.
Oh my god...that show is really scary!!!! It shows how quickly they could ruin and get into your house...
