I interviewed last week for a preschool teacher and I got called today and I start Monday! I am so excited and scared, it's my first teaching position. It's not the grade I would prefer, but it's a start right! So, any other preschool teachers here? Any cute lessons? Behavior strategies? Thanks!

is it the kids first day too??? I would say just get ready with some hugs and some snacks to tempt them into the room with ...expect some tears!

I teach a pre-school program. Just be prepared for them to say EXACTLY what they are thinking. They don't have the concept of inside and outside thoughts down yet. I had a three-year-old girl tell me about breastfeeding because mommy had just had a baby. She was explaining the whole process to me!

I envy you-that is my dream job-congratulations!!!!!! Question-do you need the same degree for preschool that you do for elementary ed???
