Last night I went to my dads to wrap my favors and I decided it was a great time to try on my dress!!! Anyway, the night before I had cut my finger on a really sharp knife (shower gift). As soon as that dress went over my head, blood started dripping out of my finger!! A LOT!!! Fortunatly, only a little bit got on the inside of the dress, didn't 'bleed' threw, and my step -mom got it out!!

Re: I got BLOOD on my dress!!!
trick for getting blood off your dress, told to me by my seamstress: saturate a piece of thread with saliva and then run in back and forth over the spot. Apparently this is an old trick in the wedding industry-- seamstress probably have to deal with bood on dresses all the time- if they prick themselves with needles and pins. Glad you got it out though!

Wow you really lucked out. This was precisely why we had the Rabbi give us WHITE wine during our ceremony. I am too clumsy and was afraid I'd spill it!

This really works, I've seen it done a few times But only your Saliva takes out your own blood strange but true...I used to work at a bridal salon!!
