I Got Engaged Last Night!!!!!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone and tell you all that I got engaged last night!! I'm so excited and can't wait to start planning my wedding with all of you!!

ok, here's the story, sorry it's kind of long.... after work yesterday, I did some Christmas shopping... then I headed home to 'our' apt... when I got there, he wouldnt let me in and told me I had to come back in 15 mins... which of course, I was annoyed about!! LOL.... so about 10 mins later he calls me and tells me to come home now... when I get to the door, I ring the bell and he doesnt answer... so I open the door with my key and when I walked in there was nothing but our dog and a trail of tea light candles and rose petals leading to the bedroom... when I opened the bedroom door the trail continued to a circle of candles and roses... inside the circle there was one single red rose and a note that said 'Meet me at the jeddi on the beach', Chris'.... (we live at the beach by the way, LOL)... so I walked down to the beach and he was there... it was dark cause it was around 5:30... so when I got there he told how I was so perfect for him etc... then he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him... I said YES!! and he put the ring on my finger!! We were laughing and crying!! and then he took out a bottle of champagne and two glasses and we toasted to our future! It was THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
