I got hung up on! Vent.....

I called my doctor this morning like she asked me to in order to get my strept results. Well, they gave them to me and I was negative for strept, which means I have a very bad case of tonsilitis.....well...I was just thinking before that I should call her and ask how contagious I am since the antibiotics don't really cover viral infections. So I call and the receptionist YELLED at me and told me that the doctor makes any necessary phone calls at the end of the day and click, she hung up! I am just at my wits end today. I'm sick of being sick and I want some f-ing answers about what is wrong with me and what the hell are they going to do about it? I can barely speak because my throat is so swollen and I really need to go back to work tomorrow, I've been home for almost a week. I'm just so aggravated and I think I'm going to cry. I know I've been whining about being sick a lot, and I'm sorry you guys keep having to hear about it, but I'm just so upset. And then that b-tch hangs up on me And of course, the doctor never got my message and never called me back, the receptionist didn't even take my name

Thanks, the doctor JUST called me back, and she had no idea I called, she just had me on her list to call anyway. She said that she would speak with the receptionist. She does not want me to go to work tomorrow because she is afraid I may have mono I already had mono, but she said it's possible to get it again and people don't know that. But I think that it's just tonsilitis. I get it often enough to know. I guess she just wants to be safe. So I'll be voting tomorrow and getting my blood sucked.

Miss you too!! Mono would stink! You'll be out of work for weeks, no?
I'm OK...getting more pregnant with each passing hour Only 7 weeks to go. It's been too long since we've gotten together

I'd drop by in person once you are better. A friend of mine has been through a similar situation with my Dr. The Dr's wife is a complete B****. She is the 'office manager' and she is awful. She always ends up referring patients to the Nurse Practiitioner. and its still as much $$$$. So one day my friend just totally flipped out and toild the Dr. his wife is RUINING his practice and that she was going to go to a real professional who would treat her like a patient.

I would maybe just bring up to the Doctor that this woman treated you very badly when you were at your worst and what does this say about him and his staff, afterall, they represent him.
