The invitation to my shower!!!

They wanted to make sure I would be home from work that day It's getting so close!!!

I think that's kinda cool.

Mine was so close to the wedding that I was suspicious every single weekend. My sister tried so hard to surprise me that she planned for us spend an 'easy day shopping'. She was so laid back about it, that I ended up taking my time getting ready to meet her, and I ran late, and I was an HOUR late to the shower, and lost an hour of party time.

I would have prefered to get an invitation!!!

It's a great to know and have all that time to look forward to it!! Congrats!!

It is 2 weeks before the wedding - she wanted it earlier but she lives upstate and it was hard to get a good date for both of us. I work ALL weekend, too, and I have to request time off or a schedule change almost a month in advance, so at least she thought of that! I don't mind it not being a surprise - but she didn't put the location on the card for me, just the date and time, so it will still be a pretty big surprise!!
