i got into a fight!!

ok background: i worked in waldbaums for 6 years so i became close to some of the customers - there was one young couple that i saw get married and have TWO beautiful kids and they were so nice to me

fast forward to today. i go into the nail place and the young woman is there - she took off her wedding band so they could lotion her hands and SHE LOST IT!!!!!!! so we were all searching for it but no luck. now i would be HYSTERICAL but she didnt cry but you could tell she was upset you know? THEN her husband came in and he searched for it and was saying how upset she was and he left his number

SO, after he leaves this OLD HAG starts telling everyone that she probably never had it and they were putting on a show to get INSURANCE MONEY!! and people START AGREEING WITH HER!!!!!

so i am super quiet but i felt my face getting red and i HAD to turn around and i told her that she was DISGUSTING and i was VERY SORRY that she thought that way bc it was SO SAD that there were people that thought that way
she got al flustered and apologized but i was FUMING!! HOW DARE SHE make up stories about some poor girl!

UGH i get mad just thinking about it and i pray to st anthony that girl finds her ring!

that is f-ed up!! How could they do that....If I lost my ring I was be crying....I never want to replace the orginal...the memories of that one ring count....

Some people forget that in our neighborhood...or any for that matter...people know each other! Not that this should matter but people just have no shame at all!!

good job!! you stood up for that poor girl!!! people are so freakin' stupid.. that's just a reflection of her personality.. she'd probably lie or fake it just for a quick buck!!!

Good for you tilde. Poor girl! That seriously *****! I do that every time I get my nails done- I take off my ering and put it on the table next to me-my eyes are always on it but I don't want lotion and spray and all that stuff getting on it. I'll pray she finds it.

i'm so happy to hear that you said something. you have to feel sorry for people like that in a way...i'm sure she's a lonely old lady who has nothing better to do then go places and find any excuse to talk to people, even if it's just to say something unkind about someone else.

good for you for standing up for that girl, i hope she finds her ring too!! you're very sweet.
