It was completely different than the one I was originally shooting for...(the white with red trim and sweetheart neckline) but I have to admit I looked like a true princess in it and the dress fit perfectly when I tried it on that one girl thought I was there for my final fitting instead of putting down the deposit!!!!
My mom chose it, and since she's sick with breast cancer, I decided I would have an open mind about the dress, since it's possible to fall in love with more than one thing, right? And it made me look slimmer! And my broad shoulders went away! That's when I knew maybe my mom is right, I needed this gown....
Funny thing is now I have to go in a comopletely different direction with my hair, makeup, shoes, veil, bridesmaid dresses, etc.
Here's the dress, but the pic does not do it close to justice. There are swarovski crystals and beading on it EVERYWHERE and silver embroidery....ahh now only 15 more things to get done....
Congratulations! I had the same experience I ended up getting a dress that was completely different than the ones I was looking at. Funny how that happens! Your dress is beautiful!

Sorry for butting in on 06- but my friend just wore that dress for her wedding and she looked amazing! Looks even more beautiful in person. Good choice!

It's Moonlight Design.
I got it at Lestan bridal in Brooklyn, (which I'm not too happy about since the salesperson was rude the second she thought I didn't have the deposit) but by the time I got changed and went upstairs, my father had paid it.
Also the dress fit me perfectly, but instead of telling me they'll call when the dress comes in, she only said 'oh call 2 or 3 months before the wedding and then we'll start the fittings' I was thinking WTH? Why are the fittings so close to my date?
