Im giving out mini bottles of champagne. The liquor place gave me labels for free but they dont completely fit over the label. Does anyone know an easy way to get the original labels off the bottles so I can put the wedding labels. Also, should I wrap them in cellophane and put those little ties with the wedding dates on them or is the label enough??
I dont know!! LOL How?? I dont wanna ruin the champagne.

could you hold the bottle over boiling water and let the steam losen the label? is the label glued?
i don't think a tiny bit of steam will ruin the champagne - but what do i know lol

use rubbing alcohol and wet the label....use a butter knife or a nail file and scratch it off,...the left over resedue you can get off with runbbing alcohol and a qtip ir a wash cloth....we did this for my friends 21st bday she had little bottles of wine and had the same problem..........it is time consuming tho lol

Steaming them shouldn't ruin the champagne. I have put them in a bathtub full of hot water.

Which liquor store did you go to? Its nice that they gave you free labels. I say if you cant take off the original labels you can just put the labels over the celephane, does this make sense??

I went to Roger Wilco in Pennsylvania. I didnt wanna spend a lot on favors and I got 4 cases of 24 bottles for 124 dollars! I got 96 mini bottles of champagne. Cant beat that! Do you think the labels would look right over cellophane? Should I even do the cellophave thing?

can you put your label right above the label..I don't think it will look bad.
I don't think you have to wrap them unless you really want to. I thing it will look nice with a ribbon in your colors and that's it

I don't think wrapping them is necessary, I think the labels are enough...but it could go either way

goo be gone rocks but I think it might be a little time consuming taking the labels off every single bottle. Honestly, I would invest in new labels that fit over the old ones
