i got my invites!!!!!!!!!! im so excited but

on my response card envelopes it says just my name..and i remember that day the lady telling me that the response cards usually go to the brides name..but i live with my fh..and we are both paying for this wedding ourselves and i think it looks rude...how can i fix this..i was so excited about getting them and now im not...what can i do? it took 4 weeks to get these invites and i want them out at least by aug 1st..

I don't think it's rude to have only your name on the response envelope. It also does not state that you alone are paying for the wedding.

My FI and I also live together and are both paying for our wedding but we only had my name on the response envelopes.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I always heard that it's customary to have the bride's name on the envelope, even if you do live with your FH. That is what I did for our save the dates.

I just put my name on it and we live together. I was just being traditional.

we were just invited to two weddings and sent our response back... both were only addressed to one person...

I wouldn't worry - you're probably the one in charge of checking the names on the list, etc. Every invite I've ever gotten has been in the brides name.
