So FH wasn't home last night when I got home, left me a note that he went to a friend's - so I decided to go to a few stores near me and see if I could find a dress for my shower. I *think* I know when it is, and so I will either give the dress to my sister or just wait and see when I am asked to be somewhere
I went to dress barn in huntington / melville - near the bed bath and beyond. I don't go there often but I remembered that they did have cute dresses. They had a TON of stuff on clearance / sale and at great prices. I tried on like 12 dresses! And this one, I tried on in my regular size but it was big ... .. I think it's just because their stuff runs big. Thankfully, they had it in the size below. HOWEVER, the zipper is broken. I got it for 15.99 though so I am taking it to a cleaners today to get the zipper replaced. Hopefully it will still cost less than $40 when all is said and done!!!
What do you think? It fits like a glove (even though the zipper stopped a few inches short of where it should have stopped, I know it will fit) and I think it's adorable! And I look good in brown.

It comes to my knees. I took a picture of it in the car this morning because dress barn's website isn't a commerce site - they don't have thewir clothes on there. When it's fixed I will post a pic of me in it, probably a better idea!

Ohhhhhh very cute Jenn....here we go again...I spur of the moment, stopped at Dress Barn last night also and tried on at least 20 dresses and the last one I tried on I bought...It was originally $60 and I got it for $40 but when I got home and tried it on again I thought it was too big so I asked FH and he said 'uh babe, that looks too big' so I have to go back today and try to get the smaller size.

I went to the one in New Hyde Park.
We got engaged a day apart, getting married a day apart and were randomly in dress barn shopping for our shower dresses on the same night.
