I got my thank-you's in the mail !!

Now I have to start writing them out
What is a standard '' in thank-you's ...help pleaseeeeee

DH and I(OR WE) would like to thank you for sharing our wedding day with us it meant a lot to have you with us on this special day. Thank you for your generous gift (or if they got you an item thank them for that)...

You could also maybe add something personal that you remember about that person from the wedding day... like if they were on the dance floor all night, you could comment on that, etc.

We just got thank you's from FBIL's wedding, last June anyway, It just says 'thank you so much for the wonderful gift. we truly appreciate you both sharing our special day with us. ((although my daughter was invited and there too, sometimes you forgot a year plus later...watch for mistakes like that --both when there was 3)). Have fun and have a few drinks while doing it...
