Engagement Party Dress!!!

finally, after i went shopping last week and had a meltdown because I hated how i looked in EVERYTHING, i tried again last night...party on sunday so it was kinda my last chance...

had NO intentions of going to Macy's, because I didn't think they'd have anything I could afford that was nice enough....WELLLHELL...i found an AWESOME beautiful sexy/classy dress that was marked down TWICE...so it was knocked down half off the original price, then ANOTHER half off that!!! so i got a really expensive dress for a STEAL!

it was my LUCKY day!! a precursor for St. Patty's day i guess!!

but its pretty, its black, and purple, the skirt part of the dress is like satin high pencil skirt and is black, then the blouse part starts from right under my boobies :) and is black n purple, silky, with cute sleeves...hope that explains it well! ill put pics up after the party sunday...

Best part about the discounted dress...I CAN BUY NEW SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i couldnt wait to show dress pics...so i took a few...ones w/o the belt cuz i tried it onw/o it and love it like that, the other 2 are w/belt...i dunno yet if im gonna wear with or w/out though!

when i told him its purple n black, i thought he was gonna have a hissy, and be like 'u dont really expect me to match PURPLE do u???'

but he actually said in response, 'i cant wait to see it! then ill give u money so u can pick me out a purple shirt, ill wear it w/my black tie!'

i couldnt believe it lol

I got my dress for the e-party at Macy's too! I hear mixed reviews about that store but I love it, and can always find something there.

i think i saw a similar dress, if not the same one!! urs is so pretty too! they had lotsa nice dresses there last night!!

lol i know thats what i expected!!!! i REALLY couldnt believe that he brought up wearing purple before i even had to mention it!

i figured he was gonna say he'd wear a white shirt n black tie (which i absolutely hate lol) but he even was saying 'oh wow just think, a black tie on a purple shirt, it'll really stand out!' lol he's so metro sometimes!
