This is my first year teaching at this district and teaching 7th grade special ed. Our observations are unannounced. I wasn't expecting my observation until later in the year, usually first year teachers get observed four times. This makes my fourth observation, I hope I have nothing to worry about. I heard that they have to let us know by March 15th if they are not asking us back. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

i HATE the unannounced ones!!! they always happen when you have a bad day and just don't have the groove, you konw? I'm sure you did fine!!! relax, b/c you have a couple of weeks to breathe now before they come back again.
ps...after a couple of unannounced ones, i now make sure all of my plans are concrete and i'm not winging anything. too nervewracking.
