I got the nicest compliment today...

I don't have a huge engagement ring, just a nice solitaire, just under a carat, nothing ornamented or anything, but my co-worker and I were talking in my office today and she said, 'I'm sorry, I can't pay attention, your ring is just so sparkly that I'm not paying attention!' I just thought that was a fun compliment

I was on line at target an the cashier was like OMG your ring is beautiful. I felt so special!

It's nice isn't it? My ring is a little unconventional, and people truly either love it or hate it. And when they love it, they REALLY love it and gush and gush or they go 'Wow what an interesting ring. It's different.' That's when I know it's not their cup of tea...when it's 'different.' (PS - It's a diamond solitaire with 2 sapphire rounds - one on either side - it's not THAT different).
