I got to wear my dress again! celebration #2
As some of you may know, we live in San Francisco, but had a long island wedding.
Well, we threw a little cocktail party this weekend - on our one month anniversary to celebrate with our San Francisco friends that couldn't make it to New York for the wedding.
It was so much fun! My parents flew in for the event and we had about 40 guests. We rented out a jazz club, a friend of our had his band play, and we just served some appetizers and drinks. It was fairly inexpensive and totally worth it. I was able to celebrate with co-workers and other friends that I had not invited to the NY wedding.
It was also great to have something else to look forward to after the big wedding bash and honeymoon were over.And it was great excuse to wear my dress again! (only my husband and I dressed up - everyone else was pretty casual.) Doing my hair myself (with hubby's help) was the most challenging part
