I heard that they were scammers, so I didn't even bother with them.

Those are exactly the ones.

They told me that they got my info. from a bridal expo. The only thing is that I haven't been to one.

macys bridal sells the lists i got a call from wedding world a while ago you know before i got married saying my husband and i won 300 off of services at wedding world and was chosen through macys. also catering halls sell your names i had to call jericho terrace to tell them not to sendme stuff or give my info away. my husband gets mail to my parents house all the time tons of junk mail even credit card applications. be up front tell them yoiu dont want your name given out.

I cannot tell a lie...FH and I went to Royal Prestige's presentation in hopes of a free vaca!!!!

They called right after we had gotten back from an expo last summer...we decided to go just because hey, even if it was a scam it was only like 2 hours of our time. We sat through they're little cooking demonstration...tasted the food that they cooked in front of us (which was pretty good) then told them that we hadn't even set a wedding date and had no intentions of buying cookware!

We got a voucher for a free trip (which is supposedly valid through 12/04)...FH thinks I should throw the voucher out but I say what the hell...what if they will actually pay for even one night of a vacation...that's one night less that we have to pay for. We also got a coupon for a free camera...which for laughs I sent away for. We got the camera...the cheesiest most oudated camera ever designed...it was so cheesy that FH broke it taking it out of the box!! It was worth it for the 20 minute laughing fit we had alone!

You live and learn!!
