I had a gushy moment this weekend.....

DH and I went to Babies R Us to pick up some baby shower gifts for a friend of our's. So, we got the gifts and then we ended up walking around the store some seeing all the stuff they had. We've never set foot in this store before (never had a need). We couldn't believe everything they sell for babies.

And then at work, someone brought their 2 month old son in to introduce me, and the baby fell asleep in my arms for 30 minutes and then woke up and began playing with my long hair.

And then we called my parent's last night to confirm holiday travel plans this weekend, and they were telling me about the twins (10/11 months old) standing up on their own and attempting to walk, and my new baby cousin is 3 months old, and were sharing stories.

So, now DH and I have been talking about children when we both said not too long ago that we wanted to get settled in our house first.

Yea, Babies R Us is a daaaaaaaaangerous place!!!!!!!!! Gets you thinking all kinds of thoughts.

Wait until you move into your house. We started painting and we have this one room that we're going to use as an office until 'later'. I want to call the room the 'future nursery' but I think DH is going to if I keep making baby references!!

oh oh!!!! It's in the water Betsy!!! It got 3 of us... watch out!!!

Yeah, we're doing the same thing, but DH is actually stating that the office is the future nursery, so it's not just me!

I want to paint the room yellow and do a winnie the pooh theme, so it's perfect for a boy or girl. Or maybe a teddy bear theme. God, I need to get the house FIRST!

DH called it the 'office' last night but he made lil quotation marks with his fingers when he said it, so I know he's coming around!!

I know what you mean, I've got all these plans for the house and we haven't even moved in yet!!! I'm thinking a teddy bear theme too, I love bears and like you said it's unisex.

We're going to drive them up the wall! I'm already making Bob's head go in circles with everything I want to do with the house and how I want it set up!

One day it will be our turn!

The last time DH and I went to Babies R us we both ran out of there swearing we will never have kids, lol...so we still have a ways to go!

See, I love holding babies and rocking them, but as soon as they spit up, or start crying, they can go back to mommy or daddy!

Nope, I didn't even mind the crying. He didn't spit up, but I don't think that would phase me either.
