I had FIVE make up trials- HELP!

I HAD FIVE makeup trials so far. I feel lke I look ugly in pics after the makeover. I may do it myself...is this a bad idea?

maybe the people you are going to are using too much makeup... if you are not used to wearing a ton of makeup (foundation, eye makeup etc), then I am sure you feel overdone. I am sure you don't look ugly!! You can tell a makeup artist that you just want to look natural and not overdone... they can do that too! I just feel like on the day of you won't want to be worrying about doing your own makeup. If that's what you want to do though I am sure that it will be fine!

Def try Sandra Baldini you will lover her work . I had 3 different before Sandra so I know how you feel. You will not be disappointed with Sandra's work

I tried Sandra already. Im gonna try her again this week. everyone i know loved her. i feel lik at this point its just me! also I am sooovery pale right now I wonder if that has anything to do w it. I will post pics of the last few trials as soon as I upload them....and yes Im new to LI weddings thanks 4 the responses!

no not at all, but you should check out Jennifer from MAC, she did my makeup for my brothers wedding and i was soo happy. She does an amazing job. FM if you would like her contact info

FM me if you want the contact info of my makeup artist. Her name is Eleana. She's not a vendor on here, but is really amazing. I only trust my makeup to her. I can send you pics of my makeup from my mom's wedding and engagement pics.

Have you tried Oksana? She's awesome. I'm SUPER picky about makeup and I booked her on the spot!

Like the other girls said, they usually apply more makeup than usual because of pictures - the flash tends to wash the face out. I would continue searching and ask the artist to do a more natural look. But if that fails I think it's totally OK for you to do your own makeup. Just leave yourself a lot of time when you're getting ready. The most important thing is that you feel beautiful and comfortable in your own skiin on your day!! Good luck to you

I probably had 7 trials with different hair and makeup ppl before I was eventually happy with Sachiko. I felt the prettiest and the most natural with how she did my look. Check her out.
