I had my shower yesterday and it rained!!!! ![]()
After yesterday, it really made me realize how people are going to be...people. Bridesmaids drop out, fights happen, maybe a vendor you really wanted is booked for your wedding, people make seating demands, people are going to be jealous etc. (I know all of this and then some has happened to me!)--- so many things happen and you can't predict it. But going into my shower yesterday, it makes you realize what matter and that haters are always going to hate! It's so easy to focus on the people who are making everything difficult, and even at my shower the usual candidates tried to make it all about them. But those people were SO outweighed by the people who made it special, and THOSE are the people that matter: the people who care about your happiness and are happy for you. I've been engaged almost 2 years and it's sad I'm finally realizing this, but don't let the negative people/events ruin an amazing time in your life!!!![]()
