I had my shower on Saturday (7/24/04)

It was so much fun and everyone was so generous. I feel like I'm still on a cloud.

It was at Pasta, Pasta in Port Jefferson. My mom said that they were absolutely wonderful to deal with.

We had our own room. There was a separate area near the front window that had a rattan love seat and 2 chairs where the present opening was set up. I think about 30 people attended.

My mom got the centerpieces at a florist that is a couple of doors down from the restaurant and that works with Pasta, Pasta. They were lovely and charged on the final bill. My mother said the price for the arrangement was very reasonable (but for obvious reasons, I have no idea what that was).

The food and service were excellent. I had a delicious penne pasta with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella and tiramasu for desert. Everyone raved about the food.

Oh, and all of their yummy deserts are from Audrey's Bakery! (My mom saw the truck outside while she was in the planning stage and asked.)
